Yesterday on my kindergarten route that takes me up Bald Peak, I saw a bunch of Iris growing along the road where no one lives. So I stopped and picked about a dozen. I put them in a cup I have taped to top of my door opener. The cup has water in it, so it serves as a vase. I can't remember any of the high schoolers mentioning the flowers on my afternoon run, but the elementary schooler know I've been known for giving flowers away. So some of them, especially the younger ones, were quick to ask for a flower. They were beautiful and it was fun to give the beauty away. Giving beauty away. I like that.
